1 Love 4 Animals is partnering with ElderNet to provide seniors and impoverished families in the Greater Delaware Valley with free dog and cat food. This program will keep (often older) pets in their homes and out of the shelter system. It will afford seniors the companionship so vital to their physical and mental well being. And it will free up limited financial resources so seniors can spend their money on other essentials, like soap powder, toilet paper, or a small box of animal crackers shared with a visiting grandchild. In time, we will also offer free, basic, in-home veterinary care for these dogs and cats as well.

Our Animeals Program was inspired by Helen Woodward's wildly successful pet food pantry in San Diego and organized by the incomparable Karen Dee. If you would like to donate dog or cat food to pets belonging to seniors in your community, please email BillSmith4Animals@gmail.com.
