Kudos to Robert Redford the star and producer of the new film Our Souls at Night. Redford and Jane Fonda's characters decide to adopt a dog from a local animal shelter. Fonda's character is worried she doesn't have the energy for a puppy. Redford explains there are adult dogs in shelters that are already housebroken. They later adopt a dog that was tied-up outside and is missing toes from frostbite. Thank you director Ritesh Batra, writers Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, and producer/actor Robert Redford for promoting the adoption of shelter pets with disabilities.
